My name is Bennii van Rooy. I implement food safety management systems — FSSC 22000, BRCGS, SANS 10330 — for food businesses that are serious about doing it properly. I build the system with your team, I make them capable of running it, and then I walk away. You don't need me permanently. You need me once, done right.

Early in the practice, I worked with a wine estate in the Western Cape — a business with history, with standards already running deep before I arrived. They knew what they needed. Credentials

What each certification actually means.

FSSC 22000
Required by major global food brands and export markets. The full-stack standard — HACCP, traceability, allergen control, management systems. If you're going international, this is it.
BRCGS
Required by Woolworths, Pick n Pay, Shoprite, and most major SA retailers. If a buyer is asking for "BRC compliance," this is the standard they mean.
SANS 10330
South Africa's national HACCP standard. Required for most local food businesses before you can supply into formal retail or scale production.
Wine Industry
Specialist experience across Western Cape wine estates — where food safety meets a very particular kind of producer pride. Knows the sector.
HACCP
The foundation everything else is built on. Full system design: hazard analysis, CCP identification, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, verification.
